Mdluli Safari Lodge
Set within the southern region of Kruger National Park, Mdluli Safari Lodge offers an intimate and authentic safari setting for a destination wedding. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush, the lodge combines contemporary safari luxury with a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Weddings can be tailored for intimate gatherings, with the natural beauty of the reserve providing a spectacular backdrop for ceremonies, celebrations and unforgettable safari experiences.
Ceremony venue
Outdoor bush setting with beautiful views across the surrounding wilderness. Ceremonies can be arranged in a private setting within the lodge, creating an intimate atmosphere surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Kruger bush.
Reception venue
Private outdoor dining and celebration spaces can be arranged for wedding receptions, with the option of a traditional boma experience beneath the stars. Bespoke décor, private dining and a relaxed safari atmosphere make the setting particularly suited to intimate celebrations.
Max guest capacity
Suitable for intimate weddings of up to approximately 100 guests, depending on the chosen setup and accommodation requirements. Larger celebrations may be possible through tailored arrangements with the lodge.
Children's policy
Children of all ages are welcome at Marataba Safari Lodge, making it a wonderful choice for families travelling for a destination wedding. The lodge has an amazing Mack & Madi Kids’ Adventure Safari Club and dedicated Eco-Garden, where younger guests can enjoy a variety of supervised nature, creative and outdoor activities while parents relax and enjoy the celebrations.
Accommodation
Marataba Safari Lodge has 15 luxury tented suites, including four Family Luxury Tents, accommodating approximately 38 guests. Each suite features a private viewing deck, en-suite facilities and a contemporary safari aesthetic.
Jabulani Safari
Set within the Greater Kruger, Jabulani Safari offers an intimate and deeply personal setting for luxury safari celebrations. It is particularly ideal for elopements and vow renewals, as well as intimate destination weddings, where couples can enjoy a truly private and meaningful African bush experience. For couples dreaming of a larger celebration, Jabulani also hosts two larger weddings per year for up to 100 guests. These celebrations are completely personalised, with guests accommodated in beautifully appointed Meru tents, set up exclusively for the duration of their stay. With the sounds of the African bush surrounding you, candlelit evenings beneath the stars and every detail thoughtfully curated, the experience has a true “Out of Africa” sense of romance, exclusive, immersive and wonderfully personal.

An intimate outdoor bush setting, with the lodge able to create a bespoke ceremony experience surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. Wedding celebrations are tailored to each couple.
Reception venue
The lodge offers a variety of private and atmospheric dining settings, including the elegant main dining area, outdoor deck, intimate boma experiences and bespoke private dining setups.
Max guest capacity
Jabulani is best suited to intimate weddings and celebrations. The wedding package is designed around an exclusive lodge experience, with accommodation for up to 18 guests across the Superior Suites, Zindoga Villa & Villa Somopane, depending on the configuration. Twice a year we allow bigger celebartions
Children's policy
Jabulani is particularly family-friendly, with children of all ages welcome in Zindoga Villa and children aged 6 and older accommodated in the other suites. The lodge also offers an amazing JabuJuniors programme for children aged 6–12, featuring fun, educational wildlife and conservation activities, including the opportunity to become a JabuJunior Conservationist or Ranger. A dedicated team of caregivers is also available when parents would like some quiet time.
Accommodation
Jabulani offers six Superior Suites, the two-bedroom Villa Somopane and the exclusive three-bedroom Zindoga Villa. The Superior Suites accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child each, while Zindoga Villa accommodates up to 6 adults and 2 children.
Quoin Rock Wine Estate
Set against the dramatic slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, Quoin Rock Wine Estate is a spectacular destination for couples looking for a sophisticated and luxurious Winelands wedding. The estate combines breathtaking vineyard and mountain views with striking architecture, exceptional wine and beautifully considered spaces for celebrations. From intimate weddings at the exclusive Manor House to larger celebrations in the elegant Venue Hall, Quoin Rock offers couples the opportunity to create a wedding that feels polished, personal and unmistakably Cape Winelands.
Ceremony venue
The Manor House lawns are ideal for intimate outdoor ceremonies, surrounded by manicured gardens and panoramic Winelands views. For larger celebrations, ceremonies can also be hosted within the estate's beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces.
Reception venue
The Quoin Rock Venue Hall offers an elegant contemporary setting with marble floors, bespoke lighting and large stacking doors opening onto a terrace overlooking the vineyards. It also features a stylish floating cigar lounge, perfect for sunset drinks.
Max guest capacity
Up to 150 guests seated or 300 guests for a cocktail-style celebration in the main Venue Hall. The Manor House is ideal for intimate celebrations of up to 14 guests.
Children's policy
Children are welcome at Quoin Rock, although policies vary by experience. The estate's tasting room generally welcomes children aged 10 and older when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, while children under 10 can be accommodated by prior arrangement. For weddings and private events, the children's arrangements can be discussed with the venue in advance.
Accommodation
The exclusive Quoin Rock Manor House accommodates up to 14 guests across seven bedrooms. The property includes a private pool, sauna, gym, expansive gardens, private dining spaces and dedicated butler and house management services, making it particularly special for the couple and their closest family or bridal party.
For a wedding with a larger guest list, there is accommodation available at nearby wine estates and guesthouses
Lion Sands River Lodge

Children 10 years and older are welcome at River Lodge. The lodge offers family-friendly accommodation options, children’s activities and a dedicated kids’ programme, allowing younger guests to enjoy their own safari-inspired experiences while parents celebrate and relax.

River Lodge offers 20 rooms, including Luxury Rooms, Superior Luxury Rooms and River Suites, with accommodation for approximately 40 guests. Several rooms are interleading, and there is also a Family River Suite, making it possible to comfortably accommodate families travelling together.

Royal Malewane is best suited to intimate weddings and exclusive-use celebrations. The different properties within the Royal Malewane collection can accommodate larger groups, with Malewane Lodge sleeping 20, Waterside 16, Farmstead 6, Masiya's Camp 12, plus private villas including Africa House, Farmhouse and Waterside House.
Children's policy
Royal Malewane is very family-friendly, with children of all ages welcome at Waterside, as well as in the Royal Suites, Africa House, Farmhouse and selected family accommodation. The lodge offers the wonderful Royal Rangers programme, with bush activities designed specifically for younger guests, including Junior Ranger experiences, nature activities and their own safari backpacks. Babysitting can also be arranged.

Guests can choose between several distinctive properties: Malewane Lodge, Waterside, Farmstead and Masiya’s Camp, as well as exclusive-use private villas including Africa House, Farmhouse and Waterside House.
